Is Cu Chi REALLY Worth Visiting? – Vietnamese Coffee Problem 🇻🇳

In this travel video, it is about the journey that we are guided by our foreigner friends who have lived in Saigon for a long time. This day trip we had is not so far from Saigon ( Ho Chi Minh City ) – we do it all by ourselves and we think this is definitely what you should not miss while traveling to Vietnam. Have you heard of the Cu Chi tunnel? – it is an immense network of connecting tunnels and was the location of several military campaigns during the Vietnam War. The tunnels were used by Viet Cong soldiers as hiding spots during combat, as well as serving as communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters for numerous North Vietnamese fighters… Getting to know how people live their lives in the tunnel back then was mind-blowing for us… For example, back then they use coconut water instead of IV in the tunnel and there are people alive today from that… If this stuff is something that interest you, make sure to watch this video.

Ho Chi Minh City, also known by its former name of Saigon (Vietnamese: Sài Gòn), is the most populous city in Vietnam. Saigon was the capital of the Republic of Vietnam, commonly known as South Vietnam. Many of the city’s landmarks which are well known to international visitors include the Bến Thành Market, Ho Chi Minh City Hall, Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon, Independence Palace and it’s a popular destination to have the day trip to Cu Chi tunnel and Mekong delta.

– You do not have to be rich to travel non-stop –

American and Thai Millennials left the career in military and finance to become travel story tellers, proving the world that you don’t have to be rich to travel well. Met in August, 2015 in South Korea, kicked off traveling in September, 2017 with $4000 in saving account and first started publishing our journey on the way we live the life we have always dreamt of – traveling and being able to work wherever we love ( as long as there is Wi-Fi and coffee)

☼ Currently homeless, live the life out of luggage, travel non-stop, and grow love along the way.
☼ We are deeply into traveling, doing what locals do, managing the budget to travel non-stop, challenging ourselves daily.
☼ Everything we show you here is to not only show you how our world is such an interesting place to explore, but also inspire you to live the life you love especially when you dream of traveling.

Still want to know more about each of us ? :

Thank you for joining us along this crazy journey

It's mindblowing thinking of how people live their lives in the tunnel for such a long time – the way they cook under the tunnel is the most mindblowing thing for me. What shock you most ? 🤯

  2. I’d have to stand up while eating in the little local restaurants. At about 235…I’d crush those tiny plastic chairs. Ha

  3. You should do more slum videos so the world can see what a communist dictatorship looks like. Vietnam is presented to the world as a well-behaved dictatorship but it is no different than North Korea or Russia. Land are seized by the communist party to build skyscrapers while the people barely get by.

  4. I was in Cu Chi when I was 18, but never knew about the tunnels. Visited the Hobo woods for a while from Cu Chi.

  5. WATCH OUT PHUC MAP ( GUY W/RED HAIR) HE IS NOT AMERICAN HE IS VIETNAMESE UNDERCOVER HAHAHA ! JK ALL VIETNAMESE LOVE HIM

  6. Woah, thanks for climbing in the tunnel, down the tiny "shaft" Jimmy 😲 really gave us a slight idea of how it must have been!

  7. Booked motorbike trips to Cu Chi and Mekong. 1st time Vietnam and learning a lot from these vids. Thanks for posting

  8. the tunnel originally before is much smaller. they make it wider now for tourist. I don't think any tourist would dare to go to the tunnel if it wasn't wider now.

  9. Đất mẹ giấu con trong lòng đất để chở che con giữ từng hơi thở của sự sống và rồi mẹ cũng sẽ giữ con mãi khi con trút hơi thở cuối cùng. Cảm ơn Mẹ!

  10. Not the original size. Last time I was there a Vietnamese guy told me they had to widen them as a fat yanks couldn't get down them ( his words ) with a big grin on his face.

  11. No way, sugarcane juice in HCM City is only 5000d man :))) i can get a whole 1 lit bottle with just only 10000d

  12. I have try going into those tunnels 16 years ago. it was no joke. can you imagine an adult with a 8 to 10 year old body and carrying a AK 47 running inside the tunnels.

  13. Why do you say “Vietmanese”? Also, it’s Mekong not Meklong. Your videos are really great, however. I’m still surprised that you didn’t have a great time in northern Vietnam. It’s magical. Hanoi Old Quarter, Sapa, Ha Giang and Halong Bay are spectacular. Keep up the good work!
